This award recognizes innovators/project who/that demonstrate(s) excellent collaboration between university and industry for teaching and learning. The project/product/practice presents a good track record of activities conducted between university and industry related to teaching and learning. The project/product/practice also shows balance and synergy between university and industry that makes significant impact to community.

This award is awarded to project that shows very significant contribution in teaching and learning STEM. The project makes a significant difference in the lives of students across the state by providing excellent resources that promotes lifelong learning and inspiring a passion for STEM beyond the classroom and into the future.

  • Avicenna Award is awarded to STEM resources that has outstanding value based on STEM-Mate Competition.

The project/product/practice makes significant impact to teaching and learning which also include the integration of technological. The award is looking for innovators that revolutionize teaching and learning towards Higher Education 4.0.

  2. Outstanding achievement or track record (Awards / Medals/ Grants/ Publications)
  3. It can be a Practice/Project/Product :
    • Practice  – Transformative Teaching that results in improved student engagement and achievement in learning.
    • Project    – Student centered project that implements authentic / immersive learning environment.
    • Product   – An innovative output of learning materials based on good pedagogical principles for improved student learning.
  4. Has impact on learning and teaching
